Main Description

A permanent test organisation offers a service to set up and maintain a system test environment. This service involves the following service levels:

  • Aim: controlled environment in which the client validates whether the application was built according to specifications
  • Test levels: system test and functional acceptance test
  • Target group: the client’s testers
  • Interfaces: standard stubs & drivers, but real interfaces possible on demand
  • Test data: no test data available, client is responsible for this
  • Security: standard set provided, further management responsibility of the client
  • Entry criteria: none
  • Exit criteria: test data eliminated, no remaining data
  • Tooling: Tools for database manipulation and time travel
  • Availability: 80% availability during office hours (09:00 – 17:00) with a maximum downtime of 2 hours.
